Beta Testing
Play new builds before release and help shape them.
What Testers Do
Beta testers play new builds before they reach the stores, the way they normally play, and tell Alkeari what they find: what happened, what they expected, and any files the build's message asks for.
How to Join
- Join the Alkeari Labs Discord server.
- Press Request Beta Access in #rules-and-info.
- Pick the games and projects you want to test.
- Once Alkeari approves you, that game's beta channel appears for you.
Each Build
A build is posted in its game's beta channel with how to install it and what to test. Install it exactly as the message says. A beta build can break things, so keep a copy of any save you care about before you play it.
What Testers Get
- New features before anyone else, and a say in how they turn out.
- The Beta Tester role in the Alkeari Labs server, and Veteran Tester for testers who keep at it.
